One of my largest plays to date on a spread.
VMI is bad. Really bad. Butler has blown out the bad teams this year. They don't play for 5 days after today so no "look ahead" angle here.
I wanted to take OSU against VMI last time out but didn't. I see a similar outcome with a 25-30 pt win.

Yeah I am on this play and I am not giving to much weight to any prospective analysis Wizzler may provide, just wondering if there is an angle I am missing out on here or if he is just trolling. I don't fade people and try not to antagonize on here but my knowledge of the board suggests Wizzle is one of the most faded guys on here.

Marquette is a very strong squad defensively and SJSU can't stop much. They let Anchorage drop 87 on em.

In my experience line movement is not a good way to cap any game let alone ones like this that are off your average gambler's radar.

I guess it works for some people. I just think people like to follow the sharp money without really looking at the game itself are doing themselves a disservice.

I have always done well in NCAA hoops by betting the games that no one is paying too much attention to. Maybe it's naive to think Vegas doesn't have keep a sharp eye on every game. I just gave up studying line movement a long time ago because I have more success looking at the game itself.

It's college bball, majority of games you wait til last minute to see if you'll cash. It's fukkin basketball ya moron... Free throws change everything.

I've faded SJSU for a year plus now. It's no surprise. And here is the best team they've ever played since I've faded them, and they're only giving 17.5 pts.
SJSU basketball program is a joke. They dont defend, they have one player who can score (Frank Rogers) and they shoot the ball horribly, chucking 3s and shooting them at 27%.. They shoot free throws 62%... Their offensive efficiency is damn near last in D1. They hardly ever get second chance pts.
And then there's their defense... They allow 35% shooting from 3 and 50% shooting from 2...

They've beat two D1 teams this year. Montana and San Diego. Teams both ranked 150+.
They lost to IDAHO by 20, MONTANA ST by 12, toledo by 15, and SANTA ClARA by 3.

Marquette on the other hand is trending UP. 5 straight wins. Two against top 90 opponents LSU and Zona St.
Last 2 games against teams with similar rankings: 30+ pt blowouts.

They connect on 58% of 2s and only allow 44%. They allow 33% shooting from 3, and DONT put teams on the line...with a 22.7 FTA/FGA allowed (8 in country).
Opponents score only 15% of their pts from FT against Marquette, SJSU has relied on 22% of theirs to come fromthe line.
