Been thinking of taking on some dice control in the new year. I know it won't be easy, but should be an adventure trying it.

Anyone ever have success with this or know someone that has?

          Save your time and money.

Every time I play craps (which is admittedly rare) there's at least one person blatantly trying to set the dice and the pit does nothing to stop it. Now imagine for a second what the pit's reaction would be to a blackjack player writing down the count after each hand and betting accordingly. The obvious reason why casinos don't try to stop dice control is because it doesn't work.

If you want to make money gambling learn poker strategy and only play against soft opponents.

Agreed! Poker is the one form of gambling where you are playing against other nitwits, not the house. I tried the dice control bit for a while and there is some truth to it. The key is always throwing it the shortest distance, meaning you want to be next to the stick and on one of the short tables. Consistency is extremely hard due to the diamond backing on the sides of the table. To do it long term (beating the sevens) is nearly impossible but I had a few quick hits betting the 12 while throwing the "flying V" formation! Hit and run!
