The 5th string (now starting) QB of NIU threw one touchdown against Ohio during garbage time. Ohio clobbered NIU @ NIU for 85% of the game, then in the final minutes the Ohio corners gave huge cushions. I don't think there is anything magic about the 5th string walk-on QB from NIU.

On the other hand, Bowling Green dismantled Ohio 62-24, and this happened just two weeks before Ohio beat NIU. On paper and on film, Bowling Green is clearly the better team here.

It must be all due to NIU starting their 3rd string back up QB.

Last year in the MAC title game, NIU beat Bowling Green 51-17. I cant imagine how much could have changed to now have Bowling Green favored by 14 points in this game.

This one to watch and see what happens, and bet it live. You never know if Bowling Green may just not show up. Given that their coach is leaving, they may not care.
