So, because you can't do it, that means that nobody can do it?
    You need to chill, dog.

Go suck the teet of some jackass tout and pay him his money while you suck his cokk...
There's a reason these fukkers have to SELL plays... They obviously aren't making enough off of their own damn plays to make a "reliable income".

    Fukk outta here.

I agree as long as a long term winner can be found. I pay people to look after my mutuals, retirement and stocks. This sports thing shouldn't be any different.

Does it make you feel better to attack people that have a different opinion than you do?

If you were realistic about sports betting and actually treated it as an investment rather than entertainment, then the reality of why good handicappers sell their plays rather than just betting them is quite simple. Good bankroll management means risking around 1% per bet. 2% if your edge is sufficient and 3 would be about your maximum. Regularly risking more than 3% of your bankroll per bet statistically means that you will have to reload your bankroll at some point in time. You will fail.

Therefore, the reason why a lot of good handicappers sell their plays is because they lack the bankroll to fund their business. Selling plays is a way of financing that bankroll. What if you're good at what you do, but you don't have a spare $100,000 to invest in your business?

JJ frequently says that if a tout were good, he would just bet $5k a game. Well, in order to bet $5k a game, you should have a bankroll of $500,000. Do you have half a million sitting around? Does JJ? Maybe he does, but I would guess that the vast majority of people do not.

Most touts are bad, absolutely. But to label them all as bad, especially when the stats are there, is just wrong.

I didn't say they were all "bad".
So you're trying to make a living off of sports betting? Is that serious?

I'm not trying to degrade you because you think differently than me. But I can tell you now, not one person is much better than another at picking games, so paying some dude who probably pays random computer nerds to run numbers for him is just you believing in shit. This is gambling. The house always has the edge. Thinking otherwise is stupidity.

I just could never see myself paying someone to tell me how to risk my money. I'd compare that to paying someone to screw my girl because I can't so it sufficiently.
Figure out how to do it yourself or don't do it. That'd be +ev every time.

You can certainly think that something is stupid because you don't understand it, but does that mean that it's reality? Are you saying that nobody makes money betting on sports? I've given you proof to the contrary.

Do you pay people to grow and process your food? Why? You can do a much better job yourself, right? It's probably not worth your time to grow your own food, when somebody else is already doing it and is selling it for pretty cheap. Your time is valuable. So why spend so much time handicapping a given sport when somebody else is already doing that successfully and offers that information for sale?

You're seeing money as the only measure of EV. Time is also a measure of EV. Why do I have to spend my time doing something? It's an investment. By your definition, it's -ev to go to a wholesaler and buy something to resell it. What, should I go and steal the product instead? +EV, right? Should I make the product myself? Why would I do these things?

You are more than likely doing this for entertainment, so I definitely understand where you're coming from; it's fun for you. Maybe it's even a challenge to try to beat the system. I don't watch the games. I don't care who is playing. I'm just a fan of the Cowboys and they've already shit the bed this season, so I don't care what happens the rest of the season. I do this to make money.

I agree with some posters to get BRock Landers. Best fade ever.

All the cappers that OP listed are thieves and scammers with losing record. Dr Bob is not a scammer but he hasn't won in a long time since he had that phantom winning year.

If you are going to buy a capper to follow, like the poster said you need a long term winner who can do all sports with proper money management to withstand downswings. I recommend bettingresource. 10 years in a row in the plus.

Blindly listening to someone about a play is about like throwing 10 dollars out of a 20th floor window in Chicago, walking down the stairs, and hoping its on the sidewalk.

I do this for entertainment, yes. But I don't do it to lose money either. But I'll tell you I'd much rather lose my money making plays on teams I pick rather than some, most likely, fat loser telling me who's gonna cover based on some shitass formula he created.

I do this for entertainment, yes. But I don't do it to lose money either. But I'll tell you I'd much rather lose my money making plays on teams I pick rather than some, most likely, fat loser telling me who's gonna cover based on some shitass formula he created.

I'd rather pay a boxer to punch me in the nuts than pay someone to tell me who to bet my money on.
So, because you can't do it, nobody can?

Probably the most logical response statement I have read here in over 3 years on this forum. Guys like jj gold and others need to wake up and smell the coffee and get a clue
