despite all the "bad calls" on New England, the fact is ... they won the coin toss in OT, got the ball first and all they had to do is score a TD and they win.

Not to mention they were up 21-7 and fumbled a punt to let Denver right back into the game. He catches it and they maybe make it 28-07 and game over. Maybe the refs caused the fumble also?

anyone stupid enough to put their money on New England deserved to lose...mainly because of all the injuries the Pats had...no amendola, no edelmen, banged up O-line, etc...the Pats were simply ripe for the picking and this was a bad spot for them...very similar to the Green Bay @ Denver game several weeks ago!......and also there is crappy officiating in just about every game...especially with Jerome Boger's crew!......I'm usually a humble guy but I'm really getting sick and tired of all the bellyaching, crying, and bitching...you guys made a wager and you lost...guess what?...it happens...you can't win 'em all...move on to the next game already...

this is probably the first time in the history of sports where some late game iffy calls went against a team that was in prime position to win in the 4th quarter until they made a critical error and things snow-balled from there

The refs are on national TV and could care less.
They know what plays they can get away with without punishments (if they are helping a team).
I'm not saying it was 100% scandal here, but I think it was pretty obvious how the Broncos had that injury with 30 seconds left, the ref announced about the extra timeout for the PATS WITHOUT mentioning the clock would run on a whistle (which he is required to do in that instance), it was definitely blatant on that particular play.
The way he explained it, it sounded like the clock was stopped until a snap.
That ref should definitely be reprimanded/fined for his inaccurate explanation on the penalty/infraction at the least.
It was too crucial of a fukkup.

This one hurt Pats backers a lot. Low line, Pats were -2.5 and ML only -135. The books cashed a TON on Denver and probably surpassed the GB one by a wide margin, I can imagine. Books won't say it but this could be comparable to a playoff game on the action they took.
