I use sports as teaching moments all the time with my 10 year old daughter and 7 year old son.

Just this morning my 7 year old was reading SBR odds and talking about how the team with the football next to it has the ball and the and the RZ means they are in the redzone hoping to score.

I show them line movements and explain why (the real reasons) they occur.

My kids will likely handicap for income, at least investment or side, when they are older.
