Thanks for the input, man. I was on Memphis a few weeks ago when they were @ Tulsa...although Memphis' defense is trash, Tulsa is very explosive. I'm waiting for the size difference to come into play against Navy this year, too. Surprised it hasn't.

Look-ahead angle in play, too...Navy's showdown with Houston for the division title is next weekend.

Id pass on tulsa. On this game. Tulsa isnt anywhere near the top #20 like navy. And they have nothing to play for
No bowls for them after. Cinci loss. Doubt navy will look ajead much as they know tulsa has a high scoring offense. Doubt if navy coaches sneek peeking at houston tape. And players the same.

Interesting local input there John...thanks pal. If not this week, Tulane should be win #6. They will get an invite somewhere...seeing as how there are like 45 bowl games lol

I think Tulsa has a very good chance to cover and possibly win.

Only warning is that high octane offenses often get impatient after Navy has a drive of 8 mins or so. If they have the patience and composure, they could make this a real good game.

I'd lean towards Tulsa, but can't bet against my team.

Very hard to simulate the speed of a good option attack in practice. And just when the defense resorts to stacking the box to stop it, Navy will burn it with a pass over the top. Navy totally frustrated Memphis in Memphis. Think Navy rolls here.

Navy's D isn't the greatest. They've been over achieving the last few weeks. The reason Navy rolled vs Memphis was because a few key turnovers and Memphis panicked in the 3rd quarter. Navy still may have won without the turnovers, but Memphis handed that game to them.

I really haven't seen Tulsa enough to make a 100% judgment. I just know their style will be tough for Navy if they are clicking.

Lastly, I know a front is coming in, so you may want to look at wind speeds also. This may slow Tulsa down a little. The more I look at this game, the more confused I get. What's the saying....study long, study wrong.

Looks like I was pretty much on the line as it opened at Hou -1.5 (middle of my pick'em to -3 call).

I think Hou has been kind of up and down so I think it's a tough game to call. I will be visiting my sister in Hou next weekend so we are going to the game. Should be fun. Tix are in the front row!
