Rondo will need to carry the team tonight. Cousins is out so the Patrick Ewing theory is in play. Cauley-Stein will have his hands full but I like his battle and he'll have to play smart. Gay and McLemore can't afford to chuck bricks either or they'll be down 30 at half. Line opened at 8 and has been pounded to 10 because of Cousins. Everybody parlaying all the ML chalk tonight but I have a feeling one of the favourites lose. Kings have a 22% shot.

    Ewing theory:

    1. A star athlete receives an inordinate amount of media attention and fan interest, and yet his teams never win anything substantial with him (other than maybe some early-round playoff series).
    2. That same athlete leaves his team (either by injury, trade, graduation, free agency or retirement) -- and both the media and fans immediately write off the team for the following season.

Number 1: So basically it works best for an overrated players like Carmelo Anthony likes. Cousins doesn't fit here, he's basically carrying his team by himself. Hope you hit nevertheless.

Cousins fits because he is a star player that doesn't win shit. He's well known enough that people will fade the Kings tonight because he is out.

Maybe, just noticed throught the years that it works better with overrated players and not stars...

Koufos is the worst player on the court and a blessing in disguise he has 3 fouls early.

Willie Cauley Stein should be getting way more playing time. Guy can play. Down 6 going into the 4th aint bad. Rondo dropping dimes tonight.
