You impressed with Virginia's "blistering" offense then? Cause I don't see them running away from any decent teams. Only way would be TOs turning into offense.
May stay away. But no way I'd take Virginia in this spot, this early in the season, on the road, in a hostile environment, without having proven themselves yet.

GW is 2 hours away and large UVA presence in DC.
doubt home court, or lack thereof, would be a big factor.

Stay away for me.
UVa will have the best two players on the flow without a doubt, in Brogdon & Gill, but they could win comfortably or it could be down to the wire.

Well last year Virginia trailed at the half but then ended up separating, I think it will be about the, same this year. I agree the under is a pretty solid play especially if you were able to get it at 126 before it started going south

They won the ACC with the same "blistering offense" last year. They don't have to score 80 points a game when the other team has trouble scoring 50 points.

New year, new rules. Their D will still be good, but hard to expect it to be as good as last year.

Respectfully disagree. All that's changed is they have to defend for 5 seconds less per possession (assuming the full shot clock is used, which it often is not). Bennett is a defensive wizard. Probably best in country.

I can see the argument either way. 5 seconds less to defend, but also causes more possessions, which means more running up and down the court and guys getting exhausted more. I still think they have a great D and it'll be one of the best in the country, but it won't look as good as last year. Only time will tell for sure.

Good call Tham, it was GW's game from the tip. It's amazing how much homecourt and emotion impact the outcome of college bball games. It already feels like March! I'm laying off for a few weeks to get a better feel for the it. Right now, there is a lot of overrated and underrated teams. We saw two tonight. UVA will struggle this year with scoring.

Rankings mean nothing at the beginning of the year they are projections based on previous year's performance and returning lettermen. Teams are going to take their lumps n bumps early on you just have to judge for yourself how good they look the first couple weeks.

it's generally not the place where you want to ask a genuine question.

I should've locked it in.... I know more than 99% here but question myself.
