When I first noticed this story the other day(when the president resigned) I though this Butler was just starting his hunger strike. It looked to me like he fattened himself up for it, then I found out that he was actually at the end of his scheme.

He also signed some type of form before the hunger strike started alerting medical staff not to resuscitate his body if his organs shut down.(Can you say Drama Queen?)

All of this nonsense made it easy to fool other far less privileged whites and blacks because they were seeing a man of wealth who had everything going for him and yet he was willing to die. So they followed him.
