Mike Babcock thinks we need to make the goals bigger. Sidney Crosby thinks that the goalie equipment needs to be condensed. I'm with Crosby. Sometimes it looks like these goalies have brought their luggage with them when they are in the goal. Surely, in this day and age, there can be smaller equipment that can do the same job.

size of net will never change. they would have to change ever net in every rink in the world. trust me on that one. too much opposition to this.
the width of the rink will be increased before the nets ever change.
reducing size of goaltending equipment is nothing new. they've implemented reductions during some seasons and we will likely see more of decreases to width of pads. to be honest i love where the league is at in terms of goals per game and amount of games being settled in the 3v3 without the shootout.Comment -
