5dimes had +10 -140 on opening, trust me I saw it. However, 5dimses always posts their lines like that, you have to actually click the box to get the real -110 opening line.

Notice how 5dimes still has +9.5 listed as their actual line at -120. If you click the box the real
dime line of +8.5 they're offering right now is the true line. People just don't know the tricks yet I guess but 9.5 is not the actual line.

I keep reading on the forum about all these people using the past to try and gauge how strong a team is. That should just be a minor factor. Take a step back and look at generalized expectations.

The Patriots are supposed to be good. They have been very good. You know the line will always be "inflated" for the Patriots.

The Dolphins were supposed to be pretty darn good as well. They started the season piss poor. A coaching change has brought a surge in motivation. You can tell that by what the players have said and by the result of the last 2 games.

The respect in the line must be growing for the Dolphins, but not as over blown as on a perfect Patriots team at home. Miami plus the points has the value here generally speaking.
