clemson riiiiipped Miami a new one last week. They have their biggest game of the season next week vs their albatross. Huge sandwich game here.

people don't know this is a pretty big rivalry game that means a lot more to nc state than it does to Clemson.

I was checking out this game too; What scares me is that N.C. State's best win was @ Wake Forest last week.

You are going to get your arse ripped if you actually make that wager. (You rarely, if ever actually wager money). Next week's game against Florida State is worthless unless Clemson wins this game. Clemson has won 9 out of their last 10 games S/U against N.C. State. If you really think that this is a big rivalry game, you are f**king crazy. If JJ likes it, you are D.O.A.

People said GT was a letdown game after they beat ND. Then the BC game became a letdown...then the Miami..now NCSt. Sure you can keep martingale Clemson to lose but you better have a huge bankroll.

Clemson doesn't even play Georgia anymore. Nc State & Duke is for basketball.

No, it's not an overreaction. It didn't change at all from what it would have been. However, the lookahead is an important factor, as is the fact that Clemson had a ridiculously easy win over State last year, the week after State lost a close one at home versus FSU. State was a no-show for the Clemson game and lost 41-0. It would be very easy for Clemson to overlook NC State. So there's a reasonable basis for the play, but you're going to need a lot of help from the situational factors.

It's not number three for Clemson. It's number 4, 5, or 6 behind GT and maybe UNC and, for some old-timers, Auburn.

The only two decent teams that NC State has played, they lost (to Louisville and Va. Tech). In fact they
got dominated by a mediocre Va. Tech team. However, State will be at home and will play with fire and a cover is
possible. If I was to bet the game, I would try and get Clemson by 9.5 even if I had to buy the half point.
NC State's stats are clouded by their really weak non-conference schedule.
