Is that "A" gift card in the store an Amazon gift card?

So why do others say things like "Burger King" or "Starbucks" gift card but that one just says "online gift card"? Made me paranoid that I'd order it and then find it was "Archie's Online Emporium" from where I could only buy expired snacks, disposable razors, and video cassettes.

I have purchased an Amazon gift card on several occasions. The expired snacks taste fine, the disposable razors work great, I haven't made the plunge on purchasing a VCR yet.
