i wouldnt expect any hangover here, plenty of cheap shots with no merit been lobbed at Ws all off season, i would expect them to come out and make a statement. and this coming from what last season was probably the most insane home team advantage in any sport in recent memory.

the hangover effect im not a fan of either, at least football its been bad. patiots smashed this year, last year pack against seahawks in that thursday night game when the points looked juicy was a big fat L.

He's been talking the talk too much since becoming the new Pelicans coach, saying things like Davis was under-used last season while criticising the former coach, and promising a championship. More importantly the Pelicans are depleted. Davis is the only player on that team worth a damn.

Always trust your initial instincts as you'll probably cover and win your bet... Don't sweat it JJ...

Pelicans are young and talented and can maybe jump out to a lead and hold off enough in the end to cover the 10 points.. GS may be suffering from a championship hang over early on in the season with players still rounding into basketball shape....

Ya just never know in game 1 of the season?
