Thinking bats will get to KCs pitching and hoping price throws a gem I guess I bit on it at -130 but I also have Toronto to win NL so I am hoping I'm right tonight either way a game 7 would be fabulous

Biggest problem with Price is there is zero to little movement on his fastballs. Maybe he changed his approach and bookies know? Bookies always have inside info.
Also Ventura isn't that good.

David Price. Linemakers don't care about his post-season struggles, they set lines on his whole body of work and he grades out MUCH better than Ventura, hence the line. I am not saying that I am betting Toronto (because I am not), I am just explaining the line.

Because joe-public will look at matchup and see David Price's name and automatically assume favorite.
Just like in Texas series.
Stroman is Toronto's ace, unfortunately, he won't get to pitch again in playoffs.

Jays have been favored in every game in the playoffs and the rl is mostly around +120. It's laughable. .500 team in the playoffs.

Stroman hasn't been good in these playoffs either.
Their best SP this postseason by far and away has been Estrada, and that was even before his game 5 gem.

I feel like the play is the over 7.5. Price is way overhyped. He's not a top tier arm. I think value for Toronto side is the over. Theres no way KC at home scores less than 4. Only arm that held them back was madbum. Hes not here.

Small play on Toronto. Price is a true ace, the starter who props up his team after they hit a skid - but who props up the stopper when he's been off? Chit. I think I'm making a case for KC.

It is only a matter of time for Price to finally find his grove....it just won't be tonight. Royals close out the Jays today.

KC is fine tuned baseball machine at home.
Price has been less then good in huge games like this recently.. I think we should all expect another Price fail!! He's shown me nothing to think otherwise.. Price has been great fade material lately simply said..

Price is horrific? Dominated 7 innings last game until a defensive blunder.

nah get real - price gets rocked big time! - royals big time dogs @ home and even if price keeps it close, that toronto bullpen wreaks. trust the fans at the stadium tonight.

Let;s go Royal's
Just back fro the royals game at the K and it was without a doubt the greatest sports crowd ive ever been a part of. It was absolutely easy money as their was never a doubt. to answer the original question the only reason the Jays were favored was the books knew that whatever they made the line the public would pound toronto and they were right. So why not suck some extra juice. It had nothing to do with Price as there was nothing that would lead anyone to believe he could reverse his fortunes. On a side note toronto has serious anger issues with each other and until they can control their emotions they will never win a championship.

If judging by the faces in the crowd - there was plenty of doubt. Laughable Toronto couldn't tie, much less win, the game for what KC handed them in the 9th.
For what it's worth, KC and Toronto had best home crowds of any games I've seen in the playoffs. The crowds at NY/LA/CHI filled with fat, rich fairweathers. They all had enthusiasm - but not so much intensity.

Anyone else think Price might be gay?
Earrings, talks with homo inflection in voice, gay mannerisms, bad in the clutch.
