I got the Jays play. I don't get this one? Cubs can't hit the broad side of the barn and Matz is the real deal. Matz doesn't really have pressure on him either because they are up 3-0 right now. They lose here not really a big deal.

Not that regular season stats matter ... but these teams were pretty damn close hitting wise in the regular season.

I hear you but I would argue the Cubs were in the same position last night. Just saying don't sleep on Matz, the kid was sensational when he was called up. He just got back into the rotation, he will have some mistakes but the Cubs have to actually take advantage of those. I can see a 7-4 game here tonight. As a Mets fan I hope Mets are the team that posts the 7. Good luck, enjoy the game

according to what? reg season numbers? i just said numbers don't matter. ppl laughed when i said royals were best hitting team in baseball when playoffs started. it's all about consistency 1-9 in the lineup....there are lots of holes in the mets lineup on paper simple as that. not saying they can't win it all but they are not the favorite regardless of who they play jays or royals. can't wait till everyone jumps on them.

Cubs have faced Harvey, syndergaard, and Degrom already, this is the lone win the Cubs have up their sleeve after bobbling last night. Cubs aren't going to go out not swinging, perfect conditions for the long ball. If there's a pitcher they're going to get to its going to be matz. Like I said I like them in this spot because they have nothing to lose. Some disagree but this team is down 0-3, maddon should be taking some risk on the bases, more power in lineup. Matz might not even see the 6th then it goes to the pen. Sure hammer could get beat up too but give me the home bats with more power.
