Alive in Parlay Pool Need Help with Hedge Tonight
Alive in 6 for 6 pool going into tonight with NYG +4. It is a ties lose pool, and the payout is $11200.

Wanted your guys thoughts, on what would be the best way to hedge this going into tonight.

    Thanks in advance.

Great advice. Must be a sad life, you lead. You took the time out of your day to respond to something, that you couldn't even contribute an answer to. Stay Classy!!!

I would bet 4k to win 2k on philly moneyline. Guarantee your self at least 2K with a chance at a middle also for both winners. Good Luck

Called me out on what exactly? I was unaware that there was an expectancy to post to be a member of this forum. I have been an avid follower for many years but don't feel I need to post, if I don't have anything to contribute. You on the other hand, must feel special when you read a post, and reply with ignorance. Does that raise your post count? Stay Classy!!!

Not it sure what you're looking to "hedge" on an 11k payout? Do you beg with a local? In Vegas? Do you have 2 or 3k to put down on the game? You're in a no lose situation but you picked the Giants for a reason? I asked for advice on a $250 3 teamer that paid 1500 and got "we are gamblers here, can't win long term if you hedge". Appears your situation a bit different.

I do think Giants will cover it at +4.

I can go ahead and put a few thousand on the game if I need to secure a profit. This is a 6 for 6 weekly pool, that I enter locally. It is run weekly and whoever picks 6 games correctly wins the pool. My initial investment in it is minimal, in terms of the payout. I usually do not "hedge", but figured I can lock up some profits if I can place the correct wager accordingly. The other aspect that throws me off, is the fact that pushes LOSE. I am trying to figure the best way to maximize my return on this.

Though Philly is my home team, I try and look at things a little more practical then just betting with my heart. This is a game Eagles have to have. They seem to have Giants number (11 out of last 14 - 3 out of 4 with Kelly as HC). Some teams just don't match up well together. Giants have a lot of injuries esp. in secondary. Was never a big fan of DRC and I think Eagles might have found a niche with the 2TE set. You have ALOT more riding on this game then I do so I wish you best of luck.
