I don't know that Royals lineup 1 thru 9 is better than the Mets. Royals are a scrappy bunch though. Would be a great series but both have to finish the job before this debate goes too far. Looking too far ahead is the kiss of death.

The Royals really feel they should've won the World Series last year (rightly so). They are on a mission. Like the year after the Spurs threw away the title to the Heat.

Of course they aren't but the Cubs losing an Arrieta start is a huge blow. The bats better wake up. The Blue jays have already proven they can come back from a deficit, but the Royals aren't the Rangers.

The Cubs are doner than done. They're a talented team and they'll be around for years, but right now you're asking too many inexperienced players to overcome a deficit. They're too green, some of these guys have barely been in the league.

The Jays could definitely make it interesting, but the Royals' mojo is real, they can beat you in all ways and they know it; they have great chemistry and they are absolutely locked in on their mission to win a title. Small ball for the win!
