you can see when something suspicious is going on when the ref announces one way, then he gets the voice in his ear telling him to reverse the call

yep, if you catch a review at the beginning and it looks like it will STAND but you somehow sense it is going to be overturned once all the different replays are shown you can snag +500 or better
