The NCAA is considering the possibility of moving the start of the college basketball season back by one month to the middle of December. If the switch is implemented, it would mark the end of March Madness, as the NCAA tournament would shift into April.

Should play fewer pre conference ooc games. Don't really need to play before New Year's Day. Then go right into conference season. Bad and meaningless basketball before January. Eliminate it.

There's nothing wrong with the current schedule except it gives teams too much time to play a bunch of non-conference cupcakes.

CBS televises the Masters. There's no way the network is giving its blessing on this so it screws up one of its largest viewing audiences of the year. Tell the NCAA to go fix something that's actually broken.
