If you're a REAL Mets or Cubs fan right now, you have watched 1000+ meaningless games.
Not everyone is just a gambling degenerate.
It's about the love of the game no matter what sport, all the time put in watching games, going to games etc.
As for the guy on the radio though, the disturbing thing for me is that he's a school teacher. He sounded like he could be a little out there, but its 2015, the whole fkn thing coulda been fake for all we know.
