PIrates hitters are not clutch. If this was the Cards this game would be finished right now. This guy Arietta is not even that good. All his pitches are balls. Clutch team would have way more plate discpline.

Tough call because Scioscia won the World Series with the Angels in 2002. He's been pretty good sporting a career winning percentage being a baseball manager.. I think Scioscia is a good a baseball manager but he could be a little burned out these days.. Players get you the wins not the managers also..

And yes, Sparky Anderson once said in an interview when asked how many games is a manager worth during the course of the season.

Maddon was a big part of that 2002 team, as was Bud Black.

Mike Scioscia is easily one of the most overrated managers/coaches in all of sports. I can't stand him.
