17 strikeouts including nine strikeouts in a row before broken bat popup to end game. One shy of Tom Seaver's record of 10 straight strikeouts.

Great performance but the Mets probably didn't give a shit.

What a monster. Too bad his coach is worthless and couldnt get anything out of a team with so much talent.

Love the class the Mets fans showed after he pitched it. There were "boos" everywhere. One guy yelled out, "Get off the field, Asshole!"

The Mets blew home field advantage vs. the Dodgers in the NLDS. Mets held the tiebreaker, now Dodger clinched with their win last night.

Game meant something but Mets signalled it was something they didnt care about relative to resting players. Have you seen the lineups theyve been trotting out? I bbet Collins even instructed them all to swing, keep the game under 3hrs.

Congrats on the no-no max. This one has to be at the bottom of the stack. To compare it to seaver is to not understand baseball.

I agree with some of my fellow SBR brethren in here...too little, too late...talk about meaningless and "who gives a fuk" type of performance...as a diehard Nats fan, my reaction is like "Well, it would have been nice if he could pitched like that in the second half of the season after the all-star break instead of getting your titties ripped every fourth or fifth day!"

Mad Max is one of the great ones. If you love dominant pitchers, this is a great time to be a baseball fan. Great pitching beats great hitting.

Down grading a no-hitter???? Are these the same clowns earlier in the year that swore Kershaw was washed up ??? Idiots.

Guys like Scherzer, Kershaw, Arrieta, Greinke, Price are so damn good they are almost impossible to hit most of the time.
