I am not betting this game. But I have to say, I have made a lot of money betting against long standing public perception.

What does last year, 2 years ago, 5 years ago and even a more irrelevant 25 years have to do with the game this Saturday?

Personally, I believe Georgia wins this game by 10+ points. I have the game at -1.5. I very rarely play any game no matter how strong more 2x my average bet; however I like this game so much, I am playing 2.5 units as I think Georgia dominates the game with the run and I think "Joe Public" will have the same approach you have.

Obviously, I have more thoughts than the rushing game, but I like Georgia to win this game 75% of the time in this same spot, which makes this probably one of the strongest games I will handicap all year.

          Georgia wins by 13

Georgia wins in style. Alabama wouldn't know what hit them when it's over.

Alabama somehow loses this game... Nick Saban will be looking for a new college. Every time his program starts slipping away.... he always goes somewhere else.

                          Some of my notes:

Georgia 4-1 ATS vs Alabama since 2000, the Over is 3-0 in that span.
Alabama is 4-18 SU as an AD since 2000, 1-7 SU since 2005
The last time Alabama was an away dog or a dog period, it was at Georgia in 2008 and they won 41-30

As someone who lives in Alabama, I simply would not bet on this game, their is absolutely no value in it whatsoever, it's way too unpredictable.....But if I had to guess i'd take Georgia...Bama hasn't played a road game all year, their quarterback isn't going to beat anybody, Georgia will focus on shutting down the run and force bama to throw it......Georgia probably won't be able to run on bama either, however Georgia can actually exploit bama's weak secondary.....I'd look for Georgia to use the run to set up the pass and absolutely destroy bama with play-action and medium range passes.

Alabama or pass...the Tide have played a much tougher schedule and that should benefit them here...their defense will shut down Nick Chubb and for Lambert to beat them with his arm...good luck with that...the one common opponent that both teams have played is Louisiana-Monroe...Bulldogs beat them 51 - 14 and Bama beat them 34 - 0...3 pt advantage if favor of Georgia...it all comes down to coaching...who would you rather trust in a big game?...perennial choker Mark Richt or proven champion Nick Saban?

I strongly disagree with you. Georgia has not played a good team all year. And GA's QB is suspect. I expect Alabama to stack up against the run and make Lambert beat them. I'd bet he fumbles/INT's at least 2x.

Now to Alabama - they've played 3 quality teams this year and had a chance to refine their game. They're coming off a tough loss and will seek to prove they are better this week.

I really like the Alabama ML here - BIG. By the way, as a fan of another SEC team, I hate the Tide. I simply see Bama dominating on the ground in this game and knocking Lambert around the turf.

Agree with all of your points...I basically said the same thing in my post...however, you are wrong about the Tide coming off a tough loss...they beat Louisiana-Monroe last week 34 - 0...the Ole Miss game was two weeks ago...

If you are selling Georgia in your mind as a winner in this spot you are just trying to donate money.

Alabama rolls and this is serious talk. Alabama owns both lines of scrimmage and the peaches haven't seen anything like whats coming to the hedges on Saturday as of yet, in fact the Peaches haven't played anybody and someone is willing to put money on the Peaches? really? seriously? based on what rationale thought(s)?
