the smarter play to me looks like the Ravens over 23.5. They're 0-3 as everyone knows but Flacco's #'s for the season in total yards are strong and the weakest spot for the Steelers is their secondary. I can see Steve Smith with two TDs alone (and his obligatory post TD act like an a** hat routine). Don't get me wrong, I could care less who wins this one but I don't prefer either side to win here. Steve Smith was pretty fukken pissed off last week after losing to the Bengals and the Steelers with Vick tonight,I seriously doubt that the Ravens will start off 0-4...Stuff the box and force Vick to beat you and I think that's the key to the game...

I love young Vick as a football player. But with literally only 3 days as starter with the first team, probably no in pads practices, old Vick is going to be a major weakness for the Steelers. Great WRS go to crap when they don't have a QB. Just look at Larry Fitzgerald's production in AZ when they have had good and terrible QB play.
Brown is so dominant in part because he has the speed to beat a defender deep, so they have to give him cushion, which makes the screen and underneath game easy. But Vick, despite a strong arm, is not accurate on the deep ball, so the not very goodsecondary of the Ravens can still press at the line and take away the bubble screen and short crossing route game, plus stack the box against Bell. If Brown beats them deep, so what, Vick won't connect on the throw. Maybe he hits one, but we are going to see multiple drives where they don't move the chains because of wasted downs on Vick throwing deep to Brown. He might even get intercepted on underthrows. In what figures to me to be a high scoring game Vick will be the difference for the Ravens to pull it out. I would be on the Steelers huge if Ben was in.Comment -
