booya it will be a fellow by the name of spalding bartlett. he gets tickets from his work down the left field line and has been overheard at his job saying, "i will bring my glove so i make sure i don't miss when i try to destroy my favorite team's chance at a world series berth." we can only hope he and his glove do not come into play.Comment -

When the Cubs win the Wold Series, it'll be the biggest sports story in any of our lifetimes. If the Cubs don't win this year, I would think that all the best free agents would be literally banging down the door at the chance to a part of it, because it is likely to happen within the next several years. You get to play at Wrigley, with the renovations coming, with the best players manager in the game, with all the positive young talent.
I will be surprised if David Price does not find a way to get in on this. Unless the Cubs do actually win it all this year, then it kind of changes things a bit, maybe.Comment -
