Incentive is for people to make bigger bets on college football especially on an off night like a Friday night. Also to get them more interested in betting in general. Some people will also forget to cancel their bet if it is losing at halftime. Also the book hopes that it is very close game at halftime because than it is a win win scenario. Heritage use to do this promo way more often and it use to be for $500 max.

If you watch the flow of the game you don't have to worry about a team coming back. Virginia was outclassed early and often. The Notre Dame loss gave me hope. Boise state boatraced last night

Of course you would cancel. I had Virginia as well and it was the quickest I've ever gotten out of one of these bets. You don't have to wait for halftime to get out. I cancelled in the 1st quarter. It's a great promotion, I call it free money. If you took Boise you would have won easily. It only gets tricky when the game is tight at halftime. If that's the case, you can then just cancel your bet for free. I've had serveral occasions where I cancelled and my pick would have won but why take the chance??? Love Heritage, best book for me.
