10 World Series Championships. Steinbrenner fired him as manager and he wouldn't go back to the stadium. Eventually, George apologized. Yogi Berra is Yankee royalty. You knew this day would come, but eventually everyone meets their maker. Sad. His wife died a year ago. He was a class act with great pride.

LOL! one of my favorites as well. For those that don't know this story - when Yogi gave directions to his house - the road split and both met at his front door in kind of a half moon driveway design.
