#2Same. Already won one which is starting over for week 3, and I'm in another two-strike pool where I'm the only one without a loss. Cowboys and Steelers were my selections thusfar. I can't believe most didn't see that the SF/PIT game had all of the makings of a classic blowout before they even kicked off.Comment -

1. Always take a home team
2. Never take the square popular team
Of course...there are exceptions, like #1 may not apply late in the season when you've burned up most of your options, or 99 percenters like NE or even SEA this week. Been good to me over these years.Comment -

#14True...that was such a weird game. I always try to adhere to two rules in these things (and seaborne, you're a sharp guy, so you probably utilize these too):
1. Always take a home team
2. Never take the square popular team

#18I don't necessarily have any rules, but I do like home teams and teams playing on Sunday. I try to stay away from the Thursday and MNF traps. Both of my picks have been nail biters that came down to the last drives of the game. I had Denver week 1 and Carolina week 2. I probably should be out too. LOL
btw I am one of the 3 alive in that groupComment -

#24Pretty much the same here. Circa 650 down to 60 or so.
I would like to play n more. Currently they are all local people. How do you ensure you get paid in a 6500 person pool. I'd hate to get all the way through that and then get stiffedComment -

#26How does survivor pools work? Everyone just picks one winner straight up for the week? And the last person standing (no losses) wins?Comment -
