If Charles breaks off a long run, gets them in fg range (or scores), everyone would be saying what a great play. Unlikely? Sure. About as unlikely as a fumble being returned for a td. Shit happens.

he should have managed down the time into the 2 minute warning, then
killed clock and settled for a FG or TD, it didn't matter which, time was
what was important.. he gave a fresh possession back to Peyton Manning
with time to spare - the guy who has beaten KC at home 13/14 times -
and the master of the late comeback... unnecessarily.
Then, he called the wrong defensive plays and allowed them to score a TD in
that precious time he stupidly gave them.
