Broncos +3 @ Chiefs

Tonight I like the Denver Broncos getting 3 points at KC Chiefs. Three reasons below.

1. Peyton Manning: He is not done. Remember last year when everyone said the same thing about Brady?? How'd that work out? Peyton is 6-0 vs KC since 2012 with a 16-3 TD/INT ratio. He will have a good game tonight. With Anderson being a little banged up my guess is Kubiak give Peyton a little more freedom to call plays and do his thing.

2. Denver D: One of the best defenses in the NFL. With a LB crew of DeMarcus Ware, Von Miller, Brandon Marshall and Danny Trevathan, KC will struggle running and throwing short slant routes. SS TJ Ward is back from suspension to start tonight. Aqib Talib and Chris Harris make up an elite CB group.

3. KC Hype: They're a little overrated right now. Yes, they are a good team and maybe a playoff squad. But they struggle against Denver every damn year. They beat up on a weak Houston team with no real starting QB or RB. YET, they only won by one score. Their offense was shut out in the second half, when houston could adjust to the beastly Kelce and new QB style.

Conclusion: I think Denver wins s/u, so getting 3 points is a nice bet if you ask me.

I am usually with you on most of your plays. I haven't decided on this one yet. I feel like KC defense is really good, Arrowhead is loud, KC offense seems to be clicking enough to move the chains.

but I also agree with your last two points. My drawback is Peyton. I just think he looks soft and unpolished. I mean he is still good, but it just seems like he's lost his competitive edge or something. The last 2-3 times I have backed him thinking surely he will show up, He lays a penetrating egg and I get burned.

It is prime time and getting +3 with peyton manning and a good DEN defense is a pretty good deal, but I'm just not completely sold yet.

I agree, simply because I think this will be a low scoring game. Wade Phillips actually seems to have a clue as to how to run this Denver defense. Can see either team winning but should be tight

Chiefs played very safe in the second half last week . I think they took the foot off the pedal to be safe , not get hurt and not show off everything in the playbook , this team has a lot of new blood on offense , lots of speed , and that defense is for real with 5 sacks last week and 3 turnovers on the road ... KC at night is no joke with that crowd behind them , and they want Denver after 4 straight losses ... This is a good team , theres a reason the Chiefs are favored this year at home vs the Broncos when they were 4 point underdogs last year in the same game ...both teams are 1-0 , why isn't Manning and the number 3 defense the favorite tonight ....... I think the Chiefs roll the Broncos much like they did the Pats last year ..... we'll see but Im on Chiefs -3 and ml ... also like the over tonight ..over 41 ... The Broncos like to play fast in KC might wanna look back ... The Chiefs are gonna try to make Denver keep up tonight

Interesting you bring up Brady because all I can think about is what the chiefs did to him during prime time last year. I won't fade Peyton getting points but I would not be surprised if it plays out similar to the pats game last year. Arrowhead is no joke and those fans will be out of their minds for the home opener.
