I think Jameis is a better prototypical qb over Mariota, easily. Jameis can make NFL throws, can Mariota, I havent seen any, he will hardly be asked to only when he has to when he's behind. Mariota is on a much better team, we've all seen what happens when you put great qbs on bad teams, they dont produce. Steve Young started off with a horrible Bucs team and he was never going to be anything there had he stayed, luckily for him Walsh saw some talent and traded for him. Its a team game if you dont have help or a great system youre not going to thrive, goes for qbs, rbs, any position like that. O.J. was miserable his first 3 years in the league running behind a poor offensive line. Put Jameis on the Titans and he's a better qb, put Mariota on the Bucs and he will fail simple as that.

I wouldn't usually "told you so" in here, but I get called a "genius" and derided for my play, so I have to gloat a little. This should be a lesson for you all if you choose to see it that way; if not then keep on keeping on. Don't ever let preconceived notions dictate your play, and don't let one week of football sway your decisions.
