The key to the entire game was 4th and goal on the 1 and MSU defense got the stop....technically Bigday was correct. Good game only way MSU covers ATS is with special teams.

I don't think the Spartans are the 85 Bears, but Adams did a lot of dancing around tonight instead of throwing the ball with his feet under him with confidence. Even his good passes looked forced. He has a little hitch in his throws also. Teams will want him to throw it 30+ times a game. He can't beat you with his arm consistently

I understand what you are looking at seaborne on the field but he made some hesitations because Sparty defense is actually legit...did you see him look to throw a quick screen and the MSU DE was waiting on it and instead of forcing that throw and giving MSU a potiential pick six he just tucked it and lost a yard and in other spots he just tried to throw it away instead of being manziel every single 3rd down....he did make a few gunslinger poor decisions but overall not too bad for the guy following a heisman trophy winner and everyone expecting them to be down.

Spartans defense may have been the cause, but I can see him getting better, but the games won't be this big from here on. This was a statement game for him. He may carve up Stanford and OSU.
