i think you misunderstood me, i did not say that Wildcard teams are not playoff teams.
They are as long as they advance to the Division Series

disagree... the wildcard game is an additional game that MLB created in order to generate more revenue
for themselves... by 1) crating that extra game to watch.. and 2) creating greater interest by the fan for that last spot

but don't be fooled, the Wild Card game is not the post-season..
it merely exists to see which of two teams will advance to the Post-Season
