how well did this work for strasburg? This idiot going down the same route. Contracts should have innings requirements or you get paid less. Who decided 180 innings is okay but 200 innings is not. Just retarded logic

Probably the same guy that determined 100 pitches per game is enough, for any pitcher. Strikeout pitchers are going to far exceed that amount.

Pitch a rotation of DeGrom, Syndegaard, Matz, Colon and have Harvey firing out of the bullpen in the playoffs

He's a pussy for doing this but that would be the best compromise

Why would they? It is a business.

Exactly, & being loyal to your fan base creates even more business opportunities. Especially in New York. Sell more jerseys, gather more fans, sign more endorsements, MAKE MORE MONEY. Or.......become a pussy & watch the fans ignore you. It's a horrible business decision to not take advantage of your likeness to a fan base, a major market fan base no less!!

It should be pitch count anyhow, not inning count~

As long as he pitches well in the playoffs everybody be back to hanging from his nuts and totally forget about this nonsense. And him and boras can get back to worrying about the money in peace.
