on the radio yesterday they had the guy who sets the line for MGM, was kind of surprised and guy was talking about the plays he(MGM) needed to win based on public favs.

Should not be surprised, every state in this country needs revenue to build infrastructure,better education,ect. I think within 5 years pot and sports gambling will be legal in every state!! We are talking billions of tax revenue!!

It has been slow. We have been getting "crumbs" like Scott van Pelt is obviously a gambler and talks about it and has been open about it over the last few years especially on radio .. But holy shit. The last week or ESPN. Between the gambling alerts and the talk on TV. It's like they are setting us up for something bigger

at this point.. this crew is like Mr Rogers for me.

We grew up with them.

ESPN has been openly talking about spreads for about 3 years now (maybe so before but not like this).

-Colin Cowherd especially. Mike and Mike do here and there.
-They have a show on ESPNU called "The EDGE" where that's all they talk about. Phil Steele is a frequent guest.
-Gameday used to "hint" at it but now its full blown in the open where they pick based on spreads (unless that guy is calling the game or something like that).
-Bear is one of the producers on the gameday show, strictly comedic relief as far as an 'on air' role but now he gets to make his picks as well.


All I view it as is more easily accessible information for us to use/fade/tail. Good luck to all.

Late last night on college football live they had a segment about "bad beats". I forgot the name of the segment but they talked about the Georgia game not being a complete game so you got your money back and also how the neb/byu game went over the total due to the hailmary. Buzz are stuff. Makes me wonder...

they've completely ruined the College Football Final show. now being hosted by Joe Tessitore and Joey Galloway with some really bad segments randomly thrown in. they totally changed the set too.

Tessitore is somewhat of an interesting personality, but not really host material. and Galloway is beyond awful. you can tell the show is going for a serious tone and it's just way too stiff as a result. personally very upset about this because i really loved that show with Rece Davis, May, and Holtz. i loved that trio and the schticks they played with one another. it was a great, light way to wrap up all the day's action.
