I don't get why they wouldn't be. Because everyone on this board seems to be on Western Michigan I didn't play the spread at all and just put MSU ML in some parlays, but Michigan State is playing the big boys like Ohio State and Baylor last year and going toe to toe with them. And now Western Michigan is supposed to cover 17 points? I mean, they might, but they also might get blown out 42-10.

Frogger I actually think TCU is going to be just fine this year, Boykin still looks like a heisman winner to me even though they didn't cover the spread and the board is down on them. Not easy to start the season on the road to a team that played the national champs pretty hard to end the year.
TCU was never in doubt of losing in my personal opinion even with that ending. They didn't make a statement here and they know they don't have to make week 1 statements with a 4 game playoff now.
Having said that, I am still in Boise blue this year.

The more I look at it you guys are probably right. I mean WMU does have a good enough offensive line, a RB that probably will play in the NFL, and some very solid receivers. They're matched up against a team in MSU that has some serious questions at corner. I'm just not sure on the game. He missed two open touchdowns which is expected being game 1 of the year. The rest of his throws had zip and accuracy from what I saw, I was also watching another game so maybe I missed him making horrible decisions. He looked sharp with rust to me.Comment -

Sparty looks strong at first glance. Should rotate in enough on defense to keep up with the Broncos no huddle pace and the run game spells the defense as well. Cook should easily help MSU win but I'm laying off of this one only for the fact of the new secondary for Michigan State in the press. Copeland gets burned tonight and it might help the Broncos cover.
