Interested to get some input from anyone who follows that side of the Conference closely. I'm hearing a good bit of hype coming out of there.
Utah a likely sleeper this season?

How many points will be put up in that opening night game against A&M? Will be a wild one for sure.
I think the Trojans might be another year away from competing as well. I like the Utes schedule to maybe get them the shot.

Not ASU
They're the Georgia of the Pac 12. They will F up a totally winnable game or two every year, as usual.
I'm higher on Kessler than most, so I'd say USC, but that whole division is full of 2-3 loss teams. Anyone's game.

thing about pac-12, as well as sec, it's hard for teams to go undefeated or have just one loss. they end up beating each other up.

IMO, UCLA...basically the whole team is back from last years squad minus QB Ricky Hundley (who was vastly overrated anyways)...17 returning starters and this freshman QB Josh Rosen is very highly touted and is supposed to be one of the best 5 star recruits in the country...If he performs anywhere near expectations, UCLA takes the Pac-12, let alone the South division....sleeper and dark horse to watch out for is Utah...they also have like 17 starters returning and possibly one of the best running backs in the country in Devontae Booker (possible heisman trophy candidate)

I just wanna say the PAC is actually getting much better as a whole. Say what you want but as an SEC conference fan, I've seen them look better and better the last 3 years.
Some very competitive late night games last year.
UCLA pissed me off more than anyone from a bet angle but the conference looks strong (er).
I actually think the Wildcats could be there but I have no weight in this conference. Good luck, can't wait!!

Stanford the only other threat IMO. Want to see first how Vernon Adams does at QB for Ducks. Though he was 2-0 vs PAC 12 when at Eastern Washington

Do you like the job Helfrich is doing out there in Eugene? Putting a good solid program together going forward or sort of relying on the old parts Chip left behind?

I do like what he has done. It did help him with what he was left when Chip went to NFL. He is a solid recruiter though and thats a big help.
Still Good pieces there should have 10+ wins

Thoughts on the msu game? I'm a msu alum, seems like both teams will have great offenses with questionable secondaries

USC is the most talented team in the PAC 12 south, the question is do they have the depth to not fade in games like they did last year?

I was on the fence when they gave him the reigns. Wasn't familiar with him myself but you're right, all comes down to recruiting. It's a long game mindset vs the one big class and then fade away for a couple of seasons.

I think you nailed it. If I bet anything on that will be the over. Think one of Oregon's 2 losses
