Wrestling legend Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka is being charged with third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter for the death of his girlfriend more than 32 years ago in an assault at an Allentown area motel, Lehigh County authorities said.

Snuka off the top of the cage at MSG against Muraco will live forever. PPVs weren't really PPV's back then and the 3 hour extravagnza was on once a month. Kids nowadays don't realize how much technology and other stuff has advanced. The only thing that I liked better in the 70's and 80's were the television shows.

The weekly show would have a good wrestler vs. a jobber. The once a month MSG stuff had great vs. great.

Flair was awesome! Always made the other wrestler look 10X better.

One thing that always impressed me about WCW compared to the WWF/WWE.... The WCW PPV main event match always lasted near 50-60 minutes long. WWF/WWE never lasted that long.

Curt Hennig was a pure athelte. A technition in the ring. What kept him from the World Title was that he couldn't be relied upon on a nightly basis with people paying tickets. He was a party guy a ribber (jokster), but made everyone else in the ring look great. I heard the hunting story of Wade Boggs getting stuck in barbed wire and his life was in jeopardy. Henning carried him on his back for miles and saved his life. They were great friends and Wade looks out for Hennig's family (moral support-loyalty). A shame that he died of coke (not steroids) because he seemed to be a great guy expect for his vice. Isn't it how things go with people? You get the nicest people in the world but something or some substance has held them back in life or led to their demise.
