    Some early NCAA betting advise.................
"Don't be "that guy" chasing college football steam Week 1. If you missed a number no sense betting a game at a burnt price...ever".....former bookie

if you don't get the best of it the odds are you don't have any advantage anymore!

Put the breaks on early, you don't wanna be standing there in week 4 with your nose open

stay within your money management gig, be disciplined

as always, good luck to all

as long as the burnt price wins, that's all I care about. 9 times out of 10 the burnt price doesn't effect a win. its all a myth

This is why you are throwing your money away even with a tout as good as RAS. Either do your own work or don't bet. If a tout is good he will move the line so that you can't get value, and, of course, if he is bad then why would you follow.

unfortunately that 1 of 10 is enough of an extra win you did not get to make you a losing long term player..

I would be surprised a burnt price doesn't affect (notice verb spelled with "a") a win as much as 90% of the time. There were at least 3 games last year I lost for failing to get the best price; those are painful.

Completley disagree. As with most things, it's not a black and white issue... that 1/10th of the time that burnt price comes into play can be further mitigated by the specific game in question, the number you bet it at (is at a key number) and with reduced juice. So long as you are a decent capper and not just a mindless chaser just chasing steam, no will you not be "destroyed" in the long run by occasionally picking a side on the occasional burnt price.

However if you are barely above 50% in 1 season... then yes, being burnt by 2 or 3 bad prices can certainly be the difference between a winning season and a loosing one. But if those 2 or 3 burnt plays is the difference between being destroyed or not.. than you're over betting your role anyways.

college football lines fluctuate alot from the openers

You see plenty of 2-4 point differences
