Ok...if you remember THAT entire season correctly..(the Super bowl..season)...they were 8-0 at home and literally and totally dominated anybody that came into that Superdome..destroying the 5-0 New York Jets with their wannabe QB Mark Sanchez...and totally..totally up-ended the New England Patriots with Drew Brees throwing FIVE Touchdown passes that game..leaving Tom Brady on the sideline "dumbfounded"....and the Saints losses came when Sean Payton let off the gas a little once they were assured the Playoff spot...and they "squeaked"..a Super bowl win?..what by being creative..kicking an insides kick and recovering it to start the 2nd half when..yeah..they only had 6 points at that time?..."squeaked"..it by getting Manning all flustered that he throws an interception...if that's the case then go ahead and say they "squeaked"..the entire season by racking up an AVERAGE of around 34 pts per game..it wasn't accidental..they OWNED the NFC..and the NFL that year...folks hated soo much..cause they were soo good..they created stories and lies about how tough they were on defense and attacking LBs on the opposing teams. Nah..they were THAT good and hated for it by some. Now, that QB I have Drew Brees...had a "bad"...year last year only throwing for 30 plus Touchdowns..and around 4k in passing yards..he had "a bad year"...last year...fact is..when Brees has receivers (and He still does)...and the defense makes plays (they are improving)...they are still a force to be reckoned with...in the PRESENT..2015-2016...trust me..trust stats..or sit back and watch as the New Orleans Saints go 12-4 or better this year..and DEEP in the playoffs.

Im going to say 8-8, but if I know one thing, its that YOU dont know.

The Saints offense will be improved. If anyone thinks losing Jimmy Graham will be a problem for this offense they been drinking the media kool-aid. He was hindering the offense. We had a number 1 offense without Graham. Thats right, we DONT need him. Ben Watson and Josh Hill arent as good as Jimmy is but we wont ask them to be. They are serviceable which is what nearly all TEs are.I was hoping we got rid of him 2 years ago.

Cooks will be a stud. If anyone doesnt think so, he will make a believer out of you this year. Colston will be Colston. Slow and steady. Brandon Coleman is a big guy but he might have growing pains. Willie Snead will a guy to watch this year. In the slot he will eat people's lunch.

Ingram will have the best season of his career barring an injury. Spiller will bring the offense back to its number 1 potential and if he stays injured, Marcus Murphy will make people forget who Bush/Spiller are.

Defense is where the questions are. We have CB Lewis out for 4-6 games so Breaux will take his spot. He has shined in practice but not so much in preseason. We will find out if he really good this year. Byrd has yet to practice a snap but we let go of Phillips so it must mean Byrd is fixing to get back in the lineup. My expectations of him are tempered because I dont know what he will do. The LBs are improved but many of them are rookies. Its been a weakness for over a decade on this this. We might finally have a great MLB in Anthony.

On the DL we got K.Williams for his veteran leadership. I think it will work wonders even if he never takes a snap. We need to be able to generate a pass rush and this is where I feel we arent there yet. We could get there this year as time goes on. We have to wait and see.

8-8 is my prediction. I hope for better but anyone that thinks 6-10 is a possibility doesnt know shit about football. Brees is worth 7 wins alone even with the mental mistakes. The only way this team gets 6 wins is if Brees is injured in the first 4 weeks. To make that claim is banking on an injury. Ignorant at best.

I love the Saints too, but I don't see this team winning more than 9 games....8-8 more likely. Gotta see some D and some O-line protection first....and I've got no reason to believe either of those will be improved from last year.

Ok...did Tom Brady..do ANYTHING..in his short time during the Pre Season game?..No..Did Drew Brees...Yes..15-0....Brees must have been protected...judging by the FIRST TEAM offense and FIEST TEAM defense...the Saints are in good shape. Hopefully they wont have to play the 2nd 3rd and 4th stringers..because thats about all we saw in Pre Season...9-7..8-8......thats hilarious..the NFC got even weaker this year..while the Saints have gotten stronger...at least..not worse...they win the Division...hands down..by 2 games are better...
