Liverpool cant hold Arsenal for 90 mins. Yeh they have yet to concede but they havent face the might Arsenal yet. Expect Sanchez to be in better form. he was fresh off inury last week. Liverpool attack isnt sophisticated enough to score the 2 goals they need for a draw or 3 for a win. Arsenal wins 2-1

Arsenal to win 2-1 and the 1-1 draw. Liverpool got thumped here last season but their squad has improved a lot over the summer with the signings made by Rodgers and have looked much more solid so far this season. I expect a tight game, but Arsenal's quality may just shade it in the end.

Was a game of two halves really. Liverpool bossed the first half and should have been perhaps 3-1 up (if you allow for Arsenal's disallowed goal) with two shots that hit the woodwork and Benteke missing a sitter.

However Arsenal bossed the second half, without creating too many clear cut chances. So on balance perhaps a draw was a fair result.

I think it illustrates though that Arsenal badly need a new striker (possibly two) and won't win the league with this squad.
