And he's 36, not 40.

I say give them all 6 more matches together and then pronounce them dead.

I'm headed up to Orlando in Oct to see NYCFC. Hopefully by then they are in better form.

Pirlo is used to having 2 midfielders shielding him. With Lampard being another DP, that means he must play. At their age, it's unlikely they will do a lot of defensive work.

NYC should sort out their defence before playing both of them together. Sign a DM or 2 next season to cover the 2 DPs.
