We had tourneys with close-to-standard payouts earlier this year, and everyone clamored for the old participation-award prize structure instead. If you're looking for meaningful poker formats, you'll have to look elsewhere; or instead, just acknowledge it's not always competitive, make suggestions for improvement that SBR might listen to, and enjoy the ride

It was 12 cashes with the payoffs I wrote above for maybe about 2 years, + or -, until the end of 2014.
