My best guess is because, for those that followed boxing and saw what Floyd could do in his "pretty boy" days, now feel cheated by how he has fought the last 15 fights or so. Its like he sold out. At least I think so. But reality is can't knock the strategy, get rich without taking a beating. Smartest boxer in history. No one can argue that. But it has robbed us, the fans, of missed entertainment. What was the last fighter he faced who was in their prime? (rhetorical question) just sucks for us....
