If you like the tast of chalk......
    ....tonight is your night.

Only underdogs I sese worth playing tonight is Gio and the Nationals, and at +113, that's pretty much a pick 'em, and maybe Shoe and the Halo's. Shoe can shut down the White Sox bats, but he still has to outpitch Sale, not sure if I want to go there at +121.

Oh, here's a fun fact for you.
Ian Kennedy and Matt Shoemaker both make starts tonight.

Both pitchers have struck out 101 batters this season and both pitchers have 110 innings pitched.

Kennedy is a bum and cant be trusted 14 of his 24 homers are in his 10 home games at pitcher friendly Petco....if they aren't solo shots the anemic padres offense is in trouble.

Chen is also bum in is 21 games has 22 homers and 5 in his last 3 starts.....I know Seattle struggles with lefty's but they have averaged 5.4 runs, the last 7....also Chen has won his last 2 road games which puts him way above the curve.....

I have the Arizona Erections so I hope to taste some of that bitter, unpleasant chalk later tonight.

I know Kennedy is trash, I was just pointing out the co-incidence that both pitchers have the same amount of K's and IP's and they both go tonight.

I bought a little bit of Shoemake at +121 myself.
Niese is pitching well of late, but you have to have rocks in your head to lay -175 on him.

Why is LAA +128 in the first place?

Line makes zero sense. Angels have the better ballclub by a longshot, Shoe's been unhittable lately, and Sale's been throwing BP.

                      CHW or nothing here.

Shoemaker would never, and I mean never ever ever be a fav on the road against Chris Sale. Sale could be 0-7 sporting a 5+ ERA and he would be favored.

Current temperature at Chase Field right now.

                                      104 degrees.

So hot Chooch Ruiz will be making his own gravy behind the plate.

Actually, baseball chalk has been killing it since June. Using my filter of -222 and higher ML
fave of the day. June was 19-11 63%. July was 22-7 76%. So far this month it's 7-4 64%.
