At this time 8/7/2012 Romney lead the RealClearPolitic Poll by 8 points, the poll on 8/7-8/9 read like this:
                Romney 21
                Perry 13
                Bachman 7
                Paul 6
                Gingrich 6
                Cain 5
                Huntsman 2

Scummer trying to compare as accomplished a person as Don Trump to Herman Cain is like in
horse parlance comparing Secretariat to Milk Wagon Joe, yes there was a horse named Milk

A couple of things that make me cautious about Trump. He said it himself. He makes deals. Now I know all politicians make deals. Part of their game, and its refreshing to hear someone own up to it. Something hit me though when he started talking about how he used the US laws to his advantage when filing bankruptcy. Would he be willing to make the best deal if it was better for him, and not for the country?

I say this after hearing his explanation of the Bill Clinton phone call this morning. He told Fox & Friends that the call came from Bill after Donald decided to run, not before. Now hear me out. Donald has been calling out every Republican about one thing or another whether it be who he donated money to, who is a RINO, and pretty much who is flat out lying. Now it comes out he got a call from the husband of the favorite for the Democratic nomination, and he just brushes it off saying it was a nothing call. Its not consistent. The Trump I've been seeing should have mocked him, and pretty much said something along the lines of how Clinton might have begged him to drop out, and or leaned on him, or whatever. Instead, we get nothing. He just states he's not very close to them.

Trump said he rose his hand at the start of the debate because he likes to keep his options open. Maybe he's keeping some personal options open that he isn't really excited about sharing with the American people.

I'm warm to Trump and glad he's doing what he's doing - and I think he did okay, but I don't think he found a single new supporter last night. Much of the competition did.

It wasn't a disaster like many hoped or expected for him, but no way did he win it.

Maybe he's keeping some personal options open that he isn't really excited about sharing with the American people.
if trump goes 3rd party might as well give the white house to democrat for 8 years

Yes this type of talk is very different from what you normally hear from presidential candidates. On one hand you can think he's a shark thats not to be trusted, on the other, you could say he's being honest (and maybe thats why it shocks us because we're not used to it.) When he wrapped up the abswer to the bankruptcy question with, "this country has 19 trillion in debt, and you need a guy like me to fix it", I am sure that satisfied a lot of peoples minds. Hopefully, if elected, he will be a tad more conservative when leading on financial decisions with the country than he has with his businesses.

I love how I'm watching Chris Matthews on MSNBC I think???... they do a damn pregame segment... and I'm like... ok it's 9PM where the fuk is this debate? Then I find out it's on channel 360 Directv... and I miss 20 minutes of it. WTF. Doing a fukking pregame for a debate and then switching networks. Unfukking real.

That's what bothers me about him not making such a big deal about the Clinton phone call. If he loses the Republican nomination, is there a possible deal in place for Trump if he can push Hillary over by him running as a third party candidate? I believe he wants the presidency to change the atmosphere back to a more business friendly country to help preserve his empire. If he loses that, a deal with the Clintons might be the next best thing.

Trump trashed The Hill, almost as much as he did that slob above.

The Don did great but he can do better

On a scale of 10 points and 10 being the best. [only the second debate]

                                                            Trump, Carson, Huck, a 9.
Huck is the coolest and very, very witty. Carson was surprisingly brilliant, but too mellow to take on Isis. Trump was Trump. You watch this man rebound from those slippery questions he was asked. He is battle tested and ready to be America's gladiator champion.

Kasich, Cruz, 8 [ 1. Kasich: Whew, 2 things, he bad-mouthed Trump 2 weeks ago, now tries to hug him on stage. 2. Too much of God dependence. He never states which God he's depending on?
Same with Cruz. Same God I suppose? But they say Cruz is very, very, smart, so he gets a good number.

                                                            Bush, Rubio, 7
Rubio: [rumor was, he was selling candy bars outside the arena, earlier]
Bush was...Bush. Another milk-toast guy. He'd make a great english teacher, but president, not now, maybe, ever?

Walker, Christe, 5. Not too impressed with either man, so no personal comment is warranted.

Paul. 4 This guy come's from great stock but his performance didn't show it. He can do better. He's like a banty- rooster, who's on the verge of losing his voice.
