I've made some money early in ncaa foots but NEVER in the nfl...... haven't bet a preseason game in 30 years.
Have a friend who bets totals in preseason and claims to do OK but God Bless him....he's always had more balls than brains.

The Answer To This is Simple:

impatience. No more. No less.

We, the NFL-loving public, start getting our NFL withdrawl symptoms in mid-July (around the ALL STAR break), and right around the beginning of August, they're in full bloom. We can't help this; it just is what happens.

The answer?

Bet 1% of your bankroll on any 1 thing on any NFL preseason game -----when it loses, you can remind yourself how silly it was, pat yourself on the back for not having wagered more, and go back to chewing on a pillow until the REAL games start.

If it wins, double it up on any 1 thing on another NFL preseason game. When that invariably loses, see the above paragraph. If it wins (again) reread THIS paragraph.



In short, PATIENCE, young Skywalker: in time, the games will come to you. Until then, don't run out of pillows and recharge your lightsaber.
