For instance, if The Prick scores +3.00 in a given week and you score +3.10 you will have beaten The Prick, and will receive less of the 150K distribution than those who went 5-0-0 and won 5 units that week.. If The Prick goes 5-0 that week, nobody wins. Players must have a positive score to earn prizes.

Long-time poster but never played BTP before, just signed up. I was curious (not that it matters much since I'm not Pro yet), how are the betpoints divied out? I see it says 150k per week but is that just to anyone that got higher than the prick that week, or is it based on how much you beat him for that week and weighted by that, or what?

It says my record is 0-0-0 and there is a "make picks" section but I see nowhere saying "You are entered." Is that all there is?

If you weren't entered it would say so, there would be an "enter this contest" link under your handle. In addition there should be a link for "My Contests" under "SBR Picks" (menu on right hand side of forum under your name).

If your wife wants to play, and she is probably very good with beating the spreads, you have to share plays. Like you make 2 plays, she makes 2 plays and the dog picks the 2X bet. That's how the whole household can play.

Correct, as long as you have at least 65 you are eligible for the overall cash prizes. If you are fine with making less than 5 some weeks, that's fine, but you will show as disqualified for that week's prizes as 5 picks are needed each week to be eligible for the 150k in fp points.

You can't not make a best bet if making 5 plays in one week. If you try to enter five standard 1 unit plays and hit submit, one of the picks turns red saying (this contest requires 1 best bet):

That was another question I had - from the terms of the contest it looks like every single week you have to have a 2x bet... is that true?
